Travelling History at the Chopsticks Club

On Tuesday evening we enjoyed an excellent talk by Chris Dobbing, founder of the Cambridge Mask Company. It was a story of fantastic commercial success; the development and successful marketing of a quality mask to protect children (and grown ups) from the pollution in Chinese cities.

It was however, also rather depressing that these poor children have to endure this pollution in the first place. Nevertheless, full marks to the Cambridge Mask Company of providing an immediate solution to a global problem.

We particularly enjoyed the tale of the washing machine and the potato - great stuff.
