As the summer draws to a close....

As we draw towards the end of August it is time to reflect on a fantastic summer holiday of history, archaeology and astronomy. We have been really busy with outings, site visits and our prehistoric skycamps in locations ranging from the Cotswolds, Brecon Beacons, Cambridgeshire and Dartmoor.

We have been told we need to blog more so our plan is to put together some images and words about our summer over the next couple of weeks. In the meantime though we are going to cheat a little and refer you to the blog of our friends at

We spent a lovely day with Elaine and Jon in the Wye Valley and Trelleck and they have written some very kind words about this on their blog. If you like history, nature, travel and tea, and to see great photography, this is a blog for you.
