After a 15 month hiatus, we are pleased to be getting the Travelling History Company back on the road this summer, from Monday.
Our sessions will have a bit of an arboreal theme as we entwine trees with our history and archaeology. The fabulous 600 (maybe) year old oak in Bishops Knoll will be one of a number of new outdoor classrooms.
Bristol's Brilliant Archaeology starts next week as part of the national Festival of Archaeology. Some amazing virtual and real events have been organised, click here for details. The theme this year is "Exploring local places" which is very much what our history is all about. Whether is is artefact handling under amazing ancient trees, or good long walks exploring the local landscape, do drop us a line for some summer experiential history.
