March 2020 - we are presently unable to deliver history sessions in person as we are in a period of social distancing. We are therefore creating a series of "mini histories" short interactive mini lessons designed to augment the main home education themes once we are back in action.
March 2020 (a few days later) - One thing about this week that has been quite good has been the fabulous clear moonless nights. With the entire country now confined to their houses, we have created some mini astronomy sessions that can be done from your garden, or even by simply looking out of a window, with no equipment required. Each session will look at a single star - see if you can find it in the sky and be inspired by its properties, its history and contribution to science. Simply navigate your way around the presentation to discover facts, videos or web links to dig a little deeper into the subject.
